Religous Freedom!

A few weeks ago Elder Oaks gave a talk here at BYU-Idaho on Religous freedom. It was an unbelievable experience to be here for this talk. When Elder Oaks started the talk he made the comment that this talk will be everywhere and that it isn't just for students here at BYU-Idaho but for the world!
I can't even believe how fast the talk has sprung up all over. I am seeing it on blogs and news reports everywhere.

Here is a link to the talk:

and after you read that rent this awesome documentary by Ben Stein called,'Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed'

here is a link for some info on it if you haven't heard about it: http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/438551/new_ben_stein_documentary_expelled.html

  1. Wow that is an interesting talk. I like how he says that by basing our vote for someone running for political office on their religion we are weakening the freedom of religion. I had thought about that in terms of people not voting for someone because of his religion but not necessarily the other way around. Thanks for sharing
