I Never WIN things! But Today i won something! My good friend Jessic Kingsford is the most amazing Mary Kay consultant, (not pushy, easy going, fun to be around, honest, tells you things how they really are... you know the kind of salesman you love but can never seem to find) Well she had a Mary Kay party and she was giving away a Coach BAG! and we all know i LOVE LOVE LOVE (LUST) Coach! So they had a drawing at the end of the party. They put all the names in a Hat... then picked one out... and then called HEIDI WILCOXSON! I wanted to scream i was so excited! and that is how i won this beautiful Coach Purse.

Another project....
Today i finished another project. My Grandma used to make stockings like this for all her kids... but she died a long time ago and so there was no one to make one for Nathan. And of course i took on the challenge and challenge it was. There were 120 steps that all had to be hand sewn. Now i am just waiting for the school sewing lab to open to embroider Nathans name...

We are officially moved... oh but that is not the exciting thing. Not only did we move this week but Nathan finally built me a coffee table. Being on a small budget of $12.00 we carefully scoped out the best 2x4's we could find. After we finished at the lumber yard we proceeded to the Bishops fancy woodshop to start our masterpiece. Neither Nathan or I had any idea of what we were going to create but we got started in cutting and sanding... and wala a few days later out came this!

Washington D.C.
Last week while in Washington D.C. we were lucky enough to visit all the memorials and monuments. When we stopped at the World War II memorial we came across these little signs all around the pool.
We then came across all of these people who were wading in the water. You probably can't tell but at least half of them have at least their dirty feet in the water and some are in past their knees.
I was blown away by this scene. Are Americans really that disrespectful that they would put their dirty sweaty gross feet in a fountain created in memorial of all those who died in saving lives and protecting our freedom?
Other than that the memorial was beautiful and such an awesome sight! I would highly reccomend the adventure out to D.C. just to pay tribute to all those who have given their lives for what we call America.
